Meet Our Team
Kristopher Kornegay
President
Kris has over 30 years experience in the cabling industry. He remains very involved in all facets of NC Comm’s operations, from project management, cabling installation, to Quality Control. In addition he has attended a wide variety of BICSI sponsored accreditation courses, Kris also studied Communications at Central Carolina College.
Temo Barazza
Senior Project Manager
Temo is a senior project manager with 25+ project years of structure wiring experience. He has been a BICSI member for 18 + years and is experienced in OSP and ISP fiber/ copper installation for large and small projects.
Nicole Kornegay
Vice President
Nicole is responsible for all financial activity and acts as the company’s Controller overseeing internal operations. In her role she leads and provides strategic direction to her team of professionals. With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, her passion, vision and creativity has driven the continued innovation and growth at NC Communications, Inc since she began in 2001.
Jim Murden
Senior Sales Engineer, RCDD
Jim is responsible for overseeing engineering projects. With over 41 years of experience, he has extensive background in estimating and managing campus and premise installations for both IS3 and OSP. Jim currently holds several industry certifications including the BICSI RCDD. He has been with NC Communications for the past 19 years. He started in the field installing cabling systems. He became a BICSI Technician when it first became a certification.
Chris Valles
Project Manager
Chris is a Project Manager with 20+ years of experience in Low Voltage Copper and Fiber Structured Cabling. He's also a BICSI member with Technician and Installer 2 Certifications.
Dan Pasick
OSP Assistant Manager
Dan has a background in communications, fiber optics, networking, and project management. Dan has certificates for CCNA, NET+, SCTE and COMP/TIA as well as various other certifications in Hospitality Management and Project Management.
James W. Kornegay Jr.
Senior Executive, RCDD
James has been in the communications field for over 45 years. He has progressed from vacuum tubes to today's microprocessor. He has been in numerous schools and a RCDD communications Engineer for over 38 years.
Jesse Davi
OSP Division Manager
Jesse is a veteran of the US Air Force with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He joined the NC Communications team in 2021. His background is in power and power systems engineering. He is OSHA 30 certified and earned his PMP in 2020.
Steve Springer
Project Manager
Steve is from a construction background and has a BICSI installer 2 certification. His specialty has been outside plant installation, maintenance, and cable installation project management.
